This Part of the MSEOFS (Making SEO Friendly Site) deals with promoting your site to get traffic and rankings. I am  sure there are 100′s of ways to do this but there are a few MUST-DO’s that you must take care of. Rest you can use your own promotion tricks whereever you want.

STEP 1: Submitting site to social networking sites

Submit your site to major social networks like Facebook, MySpace, orkut and any other regional or your niche related sites. They surely bring you lots of traffic (which though might not be long lasting but surely helps in the beginning for boosting your traffic) and get your site noticed.

STEP 2: Link Exchange

This is somewhat tricky part! Link Exchange means exchanging your site’s links with other sites. e.g. You will add a link of your friend’s site on your site and he/she will do the same in return. How does it help? Well it tells Google that you have given your friend’s site a ‘Plus One‘ vote and if your friend’s site has got a PR or get a PR in future, your site too will get it’s benefits! However, excessive link building too is bad in Google’s eyes and it will ban your site it if finds that you have bought the links or done link spamming (referred to as excessive link exchange!)

The best way to to do link exchange is look for sites similar to your niche with good PR and then comment on their blogs/sites or mail a webmaster for link exchange. Buying links is illegal according to Google but people still buy links and get ranked well until they are noticed. If you ‘really’ wish to buy links I would advise you to do so slowly and carefully. Don’t buy 100 links in one day and nothing the rest day. Split your purchase like – 5 links a day!  This will help your site in the long run.

STEP 3: Article Submissions

Article submissions means submitting an article to article sites and directories that contains your links and thus getting – Traffic, PR from the respective sites. There are many sites e.g. ezine to submit your articles. Just write an article related to your site’s niche or get one written (you can contact me for that!) and then submit it to as many sites as you can. There are many companies that provide article submission service.

That’s for now! I am bit busy with my routine work ;) Will post the next article soon! Till then implement what you have learnt till now and please refer this site to your friends!

The trouble with Plr articles is the fact that most people fail to use it effectively. People should really either utilize it to acquire tips for subjects to write about or maybe thoroughly re-write it or ” spin ” it up and later set his or her own identify into it.
